THE “ ABAKUÁ ” | ||
The “ ABAKUÁ " is a modern insubmergible boat with aluminium hull especially designed for divers’ transportation. With its 8,6 m length and its Volvo Penta 230 HP engine it can easily carry 12 divers comfortably with all their equipment at a maximum speed of 30 knots.
Security:
The ABAKUÁ has all the required insurances and security certificates up to date and is well fitted out with all the necessary equipment a good diving boat should have: first-aid kit, oxygen kit, fire extinguisher, VHF radio, safety jackets, safety stop bar, etc.
And comfort:
The The “abakuá" lies in the harbour just at a few meters distance from the centre, so you do not have to carry your equipment very far and neither do you have to embark from the beach.

There are benches, one on each side and a tank-rack behind each bench, so you have your equipment next to you without getting water splashed over it and you can put on your equipment while seated. At the back of the boat there is a platform at sea level from where you can enter the water easily. There is a big stainless steel ladder to help you coming out easily of the water with all your equipment on. There is another rack for 15 tanks containing the bottles for the second dive. And moreover, there is a depth meter, a refrigerator, a stereo, anti-slippery floor, noise-insulated engine compartment and individual close at hand storage compartments for sunglasses, camera’s, sandwiches, etc.
The ABAKUÁ’s skipper has a professional marine license, a first aid and sea-rescue formation and more than 20 years experience in the sea. He is an expert dive instructor who knows well the coast of Majorca (with more than 5.000 dives in the area). You can trust him taking you every day to the best diving sites considering your experience and the sea conditions.
